Where are the honest dealers

A little thought about auto dealers and the methods they use.  If you were to break down the auto market by good and bad dealers, a small percentage would be dishonest, greedy dealers and the large percentage would be good dealers separated by the services they offer and the quality of the people they have employed.

Consumer protection is huge in the USA.  Sure there are the dealers that have absolutely no respect for the public and will grind them for every possible dollar but the largest percentage of dealers are straight shooters. how do you tell who the good guys are?   BBB the better business bureau and sites like that will tell you other peoples stories.  The experience you have while shopping will tell a lot of the story as well.

Remember one thing if nothing else.  If a dealer tells you one single bit of false information, just leave.  If they won’t tell you every single item about your deal without a commitment, run for the hills.  Don’t put up with any games!  If you ask a question, expect a complete answer. If you don’t want to leave your name and phone number, don’t.

You, the buyer, are in the drivers seat.  It’s your money and your dreams that matter.  Good dealers work with your set of rules.  Great dealers do business your way
